Arctic Consensus establishes new PhD-collaboration
A newly established PhD collaboration between Greenland and Danish actors is focusing on the skills gap in Greenland.
Arctic Consensus was leading in the establishment of the Ph.D. collaboration between the partners Aalborg University (AAU), Arctic Consensus, the municipality of Sermersooq, and the Greenland Business Association. All actors agreed on a common starting point for the direction in the Ph.D. It is a collaboration between Greenland and Danish actors, who welcome the collaboration agreement.

Cooperation and knowledge – shared benefits
With a 40 year tradition of working together through the Greenlandic harbor, Aalborg has become Denmark’s gateway to the Arctic. Arctic Consensus is an extension of this long term collaboration. Through knowledge and partnerships we work to enhance unique collaboration between the Arctic, Denmark, and the EU. Arctic Consensus aims to strengthen the relations between Denmark and the Arctic region, as well as calling attention to North Denmark’s unique Arctic skills in a national and international context. We base the work on mutual respect and a mindset in which all parties in the collaboration should benefit.
