Lise-Lotte Terp has been the Director of Arctic Consensus since 1st October 2015. Lise-Lotte has substantial experience with the Arctic and particularly the regional Greenlandic perspectives. Her professional experience includes working within the Greenland Home Rule Government, chairman at Arctic Business Network, the founding of Arctic Education Network, head of Management Secretariat at the Port of Aalborg and consultant at the Mayor’s Office in the municipality of Aalborg.
Frederik holds a Master in Development and International Relations from Aalborg University. Frederik have written a thesis about the internationalization of Aalborg municipality, which has provided him with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities within this field. As a Project Coordinator, Frederik is working with business analysis and with the implementation of UN’s SDG´s.
Jakob has an MSc in social science in European Studies. During his education, Jakob had an internship at Aalborg University’s Fundraising & Project Management Offices in Brussels, where his primary tasks included fundraising, networking, and coordination. Jakob also has professional experience with communication, research and knowledge sharing.
As a Project Coordinator, Jakob will primarily work with fundraising, networking, and coordination.
Emil holds a master’s degree in Applied Philosophy from Aalborg University with a specialty in organizational philosophy. During his studies he focused on CSR and corporate communication. Emil has experience from internships at Ecobility A/S as well as Louis Nielsen’s corporate office, where he worked with UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), communication, and strategy.
Emil will as a project coordinator at Arctic Consensus, among other tasks, work with the SDG’s in arctics, and Rehabilitation in the North.
Brandur, who is originally from Iceland, has a graduate degree from Aalborg University.
Before joining Arctic Consensus, he was the acting head of the Secretariat for Growth & Sustainability at Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, working primarily with business development and international relations.
At Arctic Consensus, Brandur will be focusing on the Icelandic market from a business perspective, among other things.
Verena, who is originally from Germany, has been affiliated with Arctic Consensus, first as an intern, student assistant and Master’s thesis student, then as project coordinator and most recently in a PhD collaboration. Verena holds a Master’s in Culture, Communication and Globalization from Aalborg University with special focus on Arctic Studies. In the established PhD, which is carried out in Nuuk, Greenland, Verena focus on the challenges with the skills gap in Greenland.
Christian Bohmann Knudsen holds a master in Communications from Aalborg University with a specialization in corporate branding. During his thesis, Christian investigated how start-up companies and SME companies can provide venture capital through corporate branding. Christian is stationed in our office in Nuuk and as a project coordinator he will amongst others focus on how to implement and develop our intra- and extranet.
Kamilla has been employed as a student assistant at Arctic Consensus since November 2019. Kamilla lives in Randers and is now a student at Aalborg University, where she specializes in Arctic studies. Kamilla has previously been associated with the Greenland House in Aarhus and has a particular interest in Arctic conditions in a globalized world.
Aviaja has been employed as a student assistant at the Arctic Consensus since April 2017. Aviaja grew up in Nuuk and moved after 2015 from primary school in Nuuk to Aalborg to study sociology at Aalborg University. Aviaja has a great interest in Greenland and the Arctic and is looking forward to using the skills at the Arctic Consensus.
Since 2014, Damien has been affiliated with Arctic Consensus, first as Head of EU Affairs and now as external consultant in communication and strategy. He has been dealing with Greenlandic affairs for more than ten years, studied Danish and political communication, and holds a PhD in political science. He has gained experience with political affairs at local, national, European and international levels. For Arctic Consensus, Damien takes care of international affairs, especially with regards to the EU.
Jytte Laden Nielsen
External Communications Consultant
Jytte Laden Nielsen has been affiliated with Arctic Consensus since October 1st 2013. She holds a degree in Journalism and has worked as reporter and editor at the Danish national radio and at newspapers. Since 1996 she has worked as a communications consultant for companies, networks and research-centers.
