Lise-Lotte Terp has been the Director of Arctic Consensus since 1st October 2015. Lise-Lotte has substantial experience with the Arctic and particularly the regional Greenlandic perspectives. Her professional experience includes working within the Greenland Home Rule Government, chairman at Arctic Business Network, the founding of Arctic Education Network, head of Management Secretariat at the Port of Aalborg and consultant at the Mayor’s Office in the municipality of Aalborg.
Matilde holds a Master’s in Communication an Media, with a specialization in Organizational communication from Aalborg University. Matilde works with and coordinates communication efforts in collaborations across actors.
With a childhood in Nuuk, Greenland, Matilde has a close connection and a large network in Greenland, as well as a basic understanding of the opportunities and challenges that can arise in communication across countries and cultures.
Gitte has a solid background within office management, and she has several years of experience with assisting directors, management and employees within the field of communication, project development, management tasks, HR and other administrative responsibilities. Her previous positions are amongst others as executive secretary at Royal Arctic Line A/S, and project coordinator at Center for Logistik og Samarbejde ApS.
Ann-Brit has a master in Social Science in Development and International Relations from Aalborg University. Ann-Brit has been affiliated with Arctic Consensus since December, first as a business intern and later through wage subsidies. Ann-Brit has both studied and work abroad which has provided her with an in-depth understanding of the advantages and challenges that often surfaces when working across the Danish boarders. Ann-Brit is attached to different projects within the field of business and education with the purpose of strengthening the relationship between Northern Denmark and Greenland.
Anders Brodersen Jensen holds a Master of Development and International Relations from Aalborg University. Through his studies, he had a special focus on CSR’s impact on companies and society.
Anders has been affiliated with Artic Consensus since December 2017, as part of a business internship. As Project Coordinator is Anders tasked with data collection, evaluations and the coordination and execution of an analysis of the artic business community.
Mette Reetz-Engell has a master in Public Health from Aarhus University. Mette has experience with development of health analyzes and project management, among other things, for Folkesundhed Aarhus and Aalborg Municipality. Mette is interested in ethnic differences in health and look forward to work with the health sector of Greenland.
Mette has been affiliated with Arctic Consensus since March through wage subsidies. As a Project Coordinator, Mette will provide an overview of the health cooperation between Greenland and North Jutland.
Christian Bohmann Knudsen holds a master in Communications from Aalborg University with a specialization in corporate branding. During his thesis, Christian investigated how start-up companies and SME companies can provide venture capital through corporate branding. Christian is stationed in our office in Nuuk and as a project coordinator he will amongst others focus on how to implement and develop our intra- and extranet.
Verena, who is originally from Germany, has been affiliated with Arctic Consensus, first as an intern, student assistant and Master’s thesis student, then as project coordinator and most recently in a PhD collaboration. Verena holds a Master’s in Culture, Communication and Globalization from Aalborg University with special focus on Arctic Studies. In the established PhD, which is carried out in Nuuk, Greenland, Verena focus on the challenges with the skills gap in Greenland.
Frederik holds a Master in Development and International Relations from Aalborg University. Frederik have written a thesis about the internationalization of Aalborg municipality, which has provided him with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities within this field. Frederik has been affiliated with Artic Consensus since April through wage subsidies. As a Project Coordinator, his focus is on projects regarding the internationalization of the Artic area.
Aviaja has been employed as a student assistant at the Arctic Consensus since April 2017. Aviaja grew up in Nuuk and moved after 2015 from primary school in Nuuk to Aalborg to study sociology at Aalborg University. Aviaja has a great interest in Greenland and the Arctic and is looking forward to using the skills at the Arctic Consensus.
Since 2014, Damien has been affiliated with Arctic Consensus, first as Head of EU Affairs and now as external consultant in communication and strategy. He has been dealing with Greenlandic affairs for more than ten years, studied Danish and political communication, and holds a PhD in political science. He has gained experience with political affairs at local, national, European and international levels. For Arctic Consensus, Damien takes care of international affairs, especially with regards to the EU.

Jytte Laden Nielsen has been affiliated with Arctic Consensus since October 1st 2013. She holds a degree in Journalism and has worked as reporter and editor at the Danish national radio and at newspapers. Since 1996 she has worked as a communications consultant for companies, networks and research-centers.
