The European Parliament has published a “2014 In Depth Analysis” on Greenland, where North Denmark’s old ties with Greenland are mentioned as well as the potential for the EU’s regional policy to use the North Denmark Region to indirectly intensify growth in Greenland.
The analysis “Greenland: The challenge of managing a key geostrategic territory” is written by Fernando Garcés De Los Fayos, who has a long experience with the Arctic within European institutions.
