Arctic Consensus will be represented at the business conference Future Greenland from Monday, the 8th of May to Wednesday, the 10th of May. Greenland Business Association organizes the conference at the cultural centre Katuaq, which is held every second year, this year under the title “Capital, Competences and Capacity”.
The conference proceeds over two days, of which both are filled to the brim with speeches, presentations, discussions and workshops. The keynote speakers are range far from Margrethe Vestager, Commissioner of competition at the European Commission, to Minik Rosing, professor in geology at Copenhagen University. Thereby both political and academic aspects are represented.
The different workshops deal with subjects such as power in Greenland, urbanisation, capital, construction and planning, primary schools and education, the mining industry and lastly recommendations from the conference. At this workshop, Verena Huppert, PhD-student at Aalborg University in cooperation with Arctic Consensus, will be part of the panel. These workshops have a wide range, which emphasizes the challenges business owners may face in Greenland – for this reason it is crucial to address these challenges in order to ensure further development in Greenland.
We, at Arctic Consensus, are looking forward to, once again, participate in Future Greenland.
