Arctic Consensus invites you to a dialogue meeting with Michael Mann, EU Ambassador at Large for the Arctic, to exchange on the Arctic agenda of the European Union and more particularly on the planned update of the EU Arctic Policy.

Mads Qvist Frederiksen, Senior Consultant at the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), will speak about DI’s cooperation with sister organisations from Sweden, Norway and Finland on business development in the Arctic.

MEP Christel Schaldemose, Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, and H.E. Kristján Andri Stefánsson, Iceland’s Ambassador to the European Union, are expected to give remarks.

The meeting will be moderated by Rasmus Gjedssø Bertelsen, Professor of Northern Studies, Barents Chair in Politics, The Arctic University of Norway.

The event will be held on Tuesday, September 29th, from 14.00 to 16.00, either at the North Denmark EU Office in Brussels (Rue Palmerston 3, 1040 Bruxelles) or as a webinar from Aalborg, Denmark.
