We are very pleased in Arctic Consensus, that our student assistant Aviaja, now has a Bachelor in Sociology.

Aviaja moved to Denmark in 2015 as she was starting at Aalborg University (AAU). In Sociology at AAU, you learn about social micro processes, such as the daily interaction between people on the street. It is also about macro conditions, such as globalisation and new social movements.

“I’m so happy with my new title as a bachelor in sociology. In my final bachelor project, I wrote with two others from my study. Our project´s focus was female lawyers with children, and their opportunities to become partners. It has been three fantastic and challenging years, with both personal and professional development.”

After the summer, Aviaja will continue at Aalborg University, studying the candidate; ´Development and International Relations´ with a specialization in Arctic studies. Something that she expresses that she is looking forward too.

“I am really looking forward to start, because that’s what I’ve been working towards. I am also very pleased to be able to continue as a student assistant at Arctic Consensus.”

Aviaja is affiliated as our student assistant at Arctic Consensus, where she is an active part of the team. We are happy that she stays with us during her master.
