Several companies support the Pan Am 2018, which will be held in Nuuk, Greenland.

Pan Am 2018 is a big sports event with participants from North-, South-, and Central America, and Greenland also participates. The winners of the hand ball championship qualify as participants in the World Cup which will be held in 2019 in Denmark. Furthermore, when Pan Am2018 is held in June, it will be possible for Greenlanders as well as foreigners to watch the tournament’s matches live on KNR, The Greeenlandic Broadcasting Corporation.
CEO of KNR, Karl Henrik Simonsen, announced to the web media Sermitsiaq.ag: “Pan Am 2018 is one of the biggest sports events we have in Greenland this year, and hand ball also has a broad appeal here in Greenland. We surely want to be part of a project of this size, and our support will cover the TV-coverage of all matches from Inussivik (the sports venue, red.)”.
This way, the Greenlandic as well as foreign viewers will be able to watch the Panamerican championship on TV.
