Greenlandic Days will be held in Aalborg from the 24-27 August. The 26th of August will focus on cultural aspects, where the program for the day consists of musicical, sporting, artistic and literary events by Greenlandic and North Jutlandic participants.
Every second year, Aalborg Municipality and Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq organize Greenlandic Days in Aalborg or Aalborg Days in Nuuk. The festivities stem from the sister-city agreement between Aalborg and Nuuk, and this year Aalborg is the host as Aalborg Days were held in Nuuk in 2015. During the Greenlandic Days in Aalborg, the focus is on business, politics and culture, where the program is ready for the latter.
This year, a free concert will be held in Musikkens Hus, where Aalborg Symfoniorkester will play, while being accompanied by the Greenlandic musicians Josef Lund Josefsen, Nina Kreutzmann Jørgensen og Frederik Elsner ”F”.
