Arctic Consensus’ 9th semester and student assistant, Kamilla Rathcke, is one of only 24 students from Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, who has been chosen. The summer course at Ilisimatusarfik is taking place this July.

The programme consists of e.g. 45 hours of lectures, where introductions to the Greenlandic language and socio-political topics will be given. Furthermore, the stay will also have excursions, sailing trips and guided tours in Greenland.

Kamilla will during her stay learn about the Greenlandic social conditions, culture and business. Kamilla also wishes to follow Joint Arctic Command, as she has a great interest in security and defence policy. Topics which she has followed closely during her study.

The summer course is called “Nordkurs” and it runs from July 1st until July 17th.
