Student assistant at Arctic Consensus, Laila Nielsen, is heading to Canada to start an internship at the Danish Embassy in Ottawa.
As part of her master studies in Development and International Relations, Laila will, on her 9th semester, do an internship abroad. She specializes in Arctic studies and the internship is therefore also Arctic-focused. Laila was born and raised in Nuuk, but has previously studied abroad, including on Vancouver Island, Canada. Through her studies and travels, she developed an interest in international affairs, especially concerning the Arctic. Laila will surely learn many things throughout her internship at the embassy that will serve her well in the future.
We wish her all the best with her internship and with the trip across the Atlantic!
