Arctic Consensus is creating a new business group, Business Group Canada. The purpose of this group is to bring together companies interested in the Canadian market.

In 2017, EU’s free trade agreement with Canada, CETA, entered into force. CETA has made it much easier for Danish companies to trade with Canada, and there is great potential for more trade with Canada for Danish companies. Therefore, there is great relevance in creating a network for companies that have the courage to work with the potentials of the Canadian market.

The business group will be established across industries, sizes and experiences. The focus of the group will be sharing of knowledge and experience, follow-ups, relationship building, and planning of events for businesses and decision-makers. Arctic Consensus will act as a facilitator for the group.

As a member of the group, you can help define the industries and geographical areas. In the start-up phase, Arctic Consensus will set up a meeting and a webinar. The members will then define the further course of the group.

Arctic Consensus wants to create relationships between relevant business actors who seek activities in the Canadian market. We will facilitate the interests and then arrange relevant activities to meet the demands and needs of the business community.

In collaboration with eT4S, European Technologies for Sustainability, it will be possible in 2022 to participate in a delegation trip to Canada and participate in company visits during this trip.

The webinar will take place on June 18th 2021, from 14.00-16.00 (GMT+2). The first meeting of the business group will be held, after the webinar. Further information will follow.

If the business group has caught your interest, we would love to hear from you. Contact Frederik S. Høyer at fh@arctic-consensus.com
