In October, the EU Regions Week will be held in Brussels on October 8-11, where Arctic Consensus will be an organizer behind one of the week´s sessions. Registration is now open – sign up here.
Over 170 sessions, networking events and exhibitions will be available during this year’s European Week of Regions and Cities, with the headline being: ‘For a strong EU Cohesion Policy beyond 2020’. The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.
During the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels, Arctic Consensus, as a representative of the Region of North Jutland, is organizing a seminar focusing on sustainable development in the Arctic. The seminar are organized together with a number of other Nordic regions – see the program here.
The session that Arctic Consensus is co-coordinating is called “Sustainable development of the Arctic region for the benefit of Europe” under the theme of “Territorial Development: Regional, Urban, Rural”. You can find the invitation to our event here.
