Arctic Consensus invites you to an Arctic Dialogue Meeting on the upcoming update of the EU Arctic Policy, following the recently published “Summary of the results of the public consultation on the EU Arctic policy”.

This event held as a webinar will also give the opportunity to hear more about the capital of Greenland, Nuuk, and its path to becoming the first capital in the world to reach the status of sustainable destination under the EarthCheck Destination Standard.

Time: Tuesday, February 23rd, from 14.00 to 16.00 (UTC +01.00) as a webinar via Microsoft Teams from Aalborg, Denmark. The dialogue meeting will be held in English.


Michael Mann, EU Ambassador at Large for the Arctic, will follow-up on the “Summary of the results of the public consultation on the EU Arctic policy”.

Elin Mortensen, Head of Mission, Mission of the Faroes to the EU, will present Faroese perspectives regarding the update of the EU Arctic policy.

Asmus Jessen Rubæk, Head of Section, Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, will share with us the process of Nuuk becoming the world’s first sustainable capital.

The meeting will be introduced by Lise-Lotte Terp, Director, Arctic Consensus, and moderated by Andreas Krog, Editor, Altinget: Arktis & Forsvar.
