On Tuesday the 30th of August, half a year of thesis writing culminated for Arctic Consensus’ Verena Huppert in the achievement of a Master of Sciences in Arctic Studies.

Verena had previously presented parts of her thesis in the Arctic House. The presentation revolved around the challenges regarding retention of the high-skilled workforce in Nuuk, Greenland, and how solutions to similar challenges in Charlottetown, Canada, could be implemented in Nuuk.

Verena’s boyfriend, her friends and co-workers at Arctic Consensus had all shown up to celebrate Verena after the exam with champagne, cake and flowers. Arctic Consensus looks forward to the future cooperation with Verena, and hopes that she will get the opportunity to develop her findings in a PhD.
