It is the goal of establishing Arctic Consensus as an independent entity. Arctic Consensus was created in collaboration between four North Jutland actors: Nordjylland, Aalborg Municipality, Aalborg Harbor and Aalborg University.

Arctic Consensus is a strategic venture with the aim of attracting considerable external financing to common initiatives and projects.

Arctic Consensus is a link between the Arctic / Greenland and the European Union.

We are in daily contact with NordDanmark’s EU office and, through its employees in Aalborg and Brussels, we have contact with EU political institutions and EU officials. It is our goal to be an active part of the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Arctic.
